About the opportunity The Talent Management Consultant plays a vital role in supporting our key talent management initiatives including managing the day-to-day activities related to our early careers' initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive individual who can effectively engage with various stakeholders, assist in the creation of reports, and maintain accurate documentation related to talent management activities. This role is responsible for driving the execution of Talent Management strategies for the enterprise to ensure best practice early career programs, succession planning and development interventions. What you’ll deliver with us The Talent Management Consultant will lead the design and implementation of innovative early career programs, including graduate and career development pathways at Australia Post. This role is pivotal in creating and developing structured career pathways, setting up new graduate programs, and driving talent development initiatives across the organisation. Additionally, the Talent Management Consultant will contribute to the creation of talent management reports, assist with succession planning, and ensure alignment with organisational policies. You’ll also Oversee the daily operations of the graduate program, including recruitment events, onboarding, and training, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with organisational standards. Build strong relationships with internal teams (Talent Acquisition, Business Units) and external partners (universities, career services) to drive early career initiatives and talent development. Assist with the creation and analysis of talent management reports, support key development initiatives, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with organisational policies. About you You will be a strategic and results-driven professional, committed to delivering key Talent and Early Career initiatives in alignment with organisational priorities. You will support the design and lead the implementation of talent activities, ensuring consistency, best practice, and continual improvement across frameworks and tools. You’ll also need Ability to work closely with senior leadership to deliver key strategic priorities, coordinate and implement Talent and Graduate Career initiatives, and contribute to planning and execution. Experience in supporting the design and implementing graduate programs from scratch, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and best practices for early career development. Strong focus on driving best practices, ensuring consistency across frameworks, tools, and approaches, with a commitment to ongoing improvement in talent management.
