Talent Pool for Principal Business Analyst Talent Pool for Principal Business Analyst We are actively building a talent pool of Principal Business Analysts for opportunities within the Department in the next 18 months. Roles would be based in Parramatta. Salary from $145,378 to $168,130pa. + super and annual leave loading. Your role As a Principal Business Analyst, you will identify, analyse, and drive improvements to business systems, processes, and workflows, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and strategic vision. What you'll do Lead high complexity change initiatives, prioritising, investigating, and implementing improvements to program scope. Analyse and document business processes, functional and non-functional requirements, and user stories to recommend optimal delivery methods and evaluate outcomes. Leverage customer feedback and insights to propose viable service enhancements aligned with strategy and user needs. Build strategic relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to define priorities and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Document, maintain, and share best practices to enhance delivery and ways of working, while constructively challenging solutions for continuous improvement. Coordinate and mentor Analysts across squads, embedding best practices and recognised standards to foster consistent, high-quality outcomes. What we're looking for Significant experience working at a senior level, preferably within a large government agency, with a proven track record of engaging stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Executive Team. Expertise in business process mapping, business and/or technical requirements gathering, and the documentation of user stories and test cases. Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with a focus on delivering impactful and sustainable outcomes.
