Key Responsibilities: Ensure Australian company's income tax liabilities are optimally satisfied and comply with legislation, including Local Part A & B filing obligations. Accurately calculate quarterly tax provisions for internal and external accounts/reports. Ensure company's fringe benefits tax (FBT) liabilities are optimally satisfied and comply with legislation. Ensure company's GST requirements are optimally satisfied and comply with legislation. Withhold and report appropriate WHT payments to the ATO. Understand and follow all legislation changes. Complete Australian tax consolidated return, including gathering and analyzing GL data, and assist with transfer pricing requirements. Calculate current and deferred tax provisions quarterly for Cognos (OneStream) and Longview tax statutory reporting. Complete FBT return, identify reportable benefits, and implement improvements in processing employee benefits. Complete Business Activity Statement (BAS) and ensure timely lodgments, review GST transactions in SAP ERP system, and update procedures as necessary. Complete GL tax reconciliations, identify WHT implications for Australia & APAC, and make appropriate submissions to ATO. Maintain compliance schedule, conduct regular business taxation compliance reviews, provide tax advice, and contribute to projects and continuous improvements. To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a similar field. Possess CA, CPA or equivalent Five or more years of experience in corporate taxation. Strong commercial acumen and ability to collaborate with all company sections and meet deadlines. Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents; effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations. Knowledge of SAP and Onesource corporate tax software is highly desirable. Commitment to compliance with tax laws and proactive attitude towards Environment, Health & Safety.
