Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home! About The Role Day to day assist in the management of taxes, and insurance activities and responsible for Treasury activities. Assist in the preparation and lodgement of Financial Statements and compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and governance framework controls. Working with Tax and Treasury Manager in responding to various enquiries regarding tax, treasury, and insurance matters as directed. What You’ll Do Taxation Management – assist with and at times responsible for various direct/indirect tax submission/reporting as directed, ensuring full compliance with legislative reporting obligations. Assist in developing and maintaining tax risk management framework and testing of controls. Treasury Management – managing all bank and merchant facilities, cashflow reporting and forecasting, forecasting FX gains/losses, addressing any related cash flow issues, assist Company financial decision making, partnering with business units in finding solutions for customer payments and allocation of funds in ERP system. Assist in the preparation and management of statutory accounts and Financial Statement reporting in accordance with IFRS. Assist with Financial Accounting & Reporting including timely month end / Quarter End and Annual close. Assist with the administration of all insurance policies and workers compensation wage declarations and ensuring global risk management policy is implemented and followed. Ad hoc project delivery – lead and support local and regional projects when required. Who You Are You have solid experience working in a Tax Accountant position ideally within a large corporate environment / global matrix structure. Your industry experience will include working in an organisation that supplies or manufactures products to the consumer. E.g. Consumer Goods, FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing or similar. Local tax & treasury knowledge across Australia & New Zealand. Hands on experience with FBT, GST, Bass. Experience using SAP, Insight and Cognos will be highly regarded. Degree Qualification in Finance, Accounting or Commerce. CA/CPA membership. Core Competencies: Agile – You can make yourself understood and are a good listener.
