Applications are invited for the position of Teacher Aide - 3 x 25hr per week/0.66FTE - Permanent Part-time positions and 2 x 25hr per week/0.66FTE - Temporary Part-time positions until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined. About The School Lowood State High School is a large rural Queensland school educating students from Year 7 through to Year 12. The school was established in 1983 and is located 32 km north-west of Ipswich. Our students' primary school experiences range from one teacher schools to large primary schools. A large percentage of our student population travel to school by bus. About The Role Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following: Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students. Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing students' development. Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs and confidentiality, tact, reliability, and sensitivity to students and their families. Supervision of small groups of students, undertaking specific learning activities designed by a teacher, when the teacher is not in the room but is available to be called on if needed. Supervision of students on the playground, bus, during sporting activities, and school excursions in partnership with a teacher.
