Teacher Conservation & Ecosystem Management TAFE Gippsland Location: Morwell Campus Salary: $78,564 - $107,995 p.a. + super. About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Conservation & Ecosystem Management (CEM) expert to join our CEM teaching team in a full-time capacity. You will deliver Certificate II and III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management courses to TAFE Gippsland students and secondary school students participating in the VET Delivered to Secondary Schools (VDSS) program. As a teacher, you will deliver high-quality classroom-based training and assessment, conduct practical skills training in simulated workplace environments, create inventive learning resources and assessment materials, and undertake educational administration. You will support and guide students, supplying them with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in Conservation & Ecosystem Management. About you You possess the necessary industry experience and skills to effectively mentor and train students to the high standard required. You are enthusiastic, motivated, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You enjoy working with others and have sound ICT skills, knowledge of training packages, and an understanding of compliance and quality requirements. Qualifications and experience Minimum Diploma of Conservation and Land Management or related studies such as Natural Resource Management, Horticulture or Agriculture at the level or higher (mandatory) Minimum five (5) years of experience working in the conservation and land management fields (mandatory) Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)Note: This qualification is mandatory for all teaching staff but is not a prerequisite to apply for this role. Support will be provided to the successful applicant, including financial sponsorship to complete the qualification and a paid workday per week to attend any classroom-based TAFE Gippsland course.
