Job Description
Teacher - Senior Accounting (Commencing Term 1) Townsville Grammar School is one of the original Grammar Schools of Queensland. The Year 7-12 campus is located on the original site at North Ward. The School also operates two Junior School campuses, both offering Pre-Prep to Year 6, at Annandale and North Shore. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Teacher for a full-time, permanent position commencing Term 1, 2025, at our North Ward campus. This is a great opportunity for a teacher dedicated to academic excellence to teach at North Queensland’s most prestigious school. A relevant teaching qualification, QCT Registration, and previous experience teaching Senior Accounting are mandatory. Additionally, our ideal candidate will: Have a high level of competence and passion for the subject. Be able to develop, plan, and deliver effective, high-quality learning experiences to our students, with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. Have the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to a variety of learning styles and student needs. Be capable of inspiring students through a passion for the subject, and a genuine belief in the potential of all students. Have demonstrated competence in classroom management. Be committed to the aims and ethos of independent Schools and be willing to participate in the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
