Coach and mentor a team of Support Workers, offering on-the-job training, support and guidance. Inspire a skilled, versatile, and diverse team utilising your experience in managing performance and delivering support. Support service delivery by ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes and procedures, including quality, timely and accurate reporting, planning and record-keeping. You will have: Advanced problem-solving capabilities, confidence and emotional intelligence that enable you to resolve complex situations. The ability to interact positively at all levels, including demonstrated capacity to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and performance manage a team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capacity to work closely with stakeholders in the development of innovative supports. Demonstrated ability to build a cohesive team with clarity around goals and accountabilities. A leadership style that fosters innovative, creative and collaborative practices and the ability to motivate others. Willingness to take a person-centred approach to working with vulnerable persons to ensure that the goals and aspirations of the person with disability are understood. Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support or equivalent working experience in the area of disability services. Experience supporting individuals with disability, complex needs, behaviours of concern and/or mental health. Compliance requirements Current NSW Driver’s licence. Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC). Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC). Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check. Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
