ABOUT THE ROLE Fixed Term Full Time until 2 January 2026 Based at Leongatha depot Base salary $92,535 + 11.5% superannuation Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm with fortnightly RDO Are you customer focussed and passionate about building strong relationships? Do you want to play a key role in helping our community resolve road and maintenance concerns across our Shire? Be part of our Operational Support team, where you will assist with Infrastructure Maintenance customer requests and provide a single point of contact from initiation to the resolution of the enquiry. You will liaise with both our internal and external stakeholders and deliver a high level of customer service relating to maintenance technical advice, while also preparing correspondence, reports and administration where required. Your role will lead and guide the Asset Inspector and Operational Support Officer with an emphasis on teamwork, efficiency and continuous improvement. ABOUT YOU To be successful, we are seeking a dynamic and relationship-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only excel in building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, they will play a crucial role in collaborating with our internal Supervisors and Coordinators. You will have relevant qualifications and/or experience in leadership, road and drainage maintenance or similar, as well as knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing road and drainage maintenance. You will have excellent organisation and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. High level communication and interpersonal skills are important to effectively liaise with all stakeholders, vendors, internal departments and members of the public. You will have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, while Customer Service and Asset Management systems will be looked upon favourably. WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US!
