Division: Homes NSW Location: Multiple office locations available across Sydney Metro Multiple Temporary roles available with possibility to transition to ongoing Salary range $125,693 - $138,510 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Housing Services is a portfolio area under the Homes NSW umbrella. Homes NSW is a newly established division within the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) with the vision to deliver quality homes and services that change lives and end homelessness. Homes NSW brings together the housing and homelessness functions of DCJ, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC), Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) and key worker housing functions from across government under one roof. Your role The Team Leader manages the day-to-day workload of housing client service teams, providing direction, support and feedback for all team members to facilitate delivery of quality outcomes; contributes to asset and service delivery planning and makes decisions in relation to asset utilisation and maintenance. What you’ll do The role is pivotal in managing key relationships within a geographical area and in relation to specific housing services as well as managing the implementation of change within the team. Within the role you will promote and participate in community building programs and whole of government initiatives to strengthen communities and enhance opportunities for community participation. As Team Leader, you will also work collaboratively with other service delivery teams within the district to enhance access, effectiveness, quality of service delivery and client outcomes. What we’re looking for In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong capabilities in: Motivating and encouraging team/unit to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients and the department, in a high-volume work environment. Researching and analysing information and making decisions based on relevant evidence. Communicating effectively to efficiently foster and manage key stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
