Team Leader - Learning and Development One (1) fixed term (leave without pay relief for up to 12 months) role in the Learning and Development Branch, People, Culture and Capability Division. Salary $121,250 - $132,764 plus 11.5% superannuation – VPS Grade 5.2. Based in Melbourne CBD or Ballarat, with hybrid working arrangements. The opportunity The Team Leader Learning and Development leads and manages a small team of learning and development professionals responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose learning experiences that enhance individual and organizational performance. Reporting to the Branch Manager Learning and Development, you will be responsible for: Managing and leading the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning strategies, programs, and activities that improve individual and organizational performance. Providing expert advice and high-quality consultancy services that are responsive to both stakeholder and organizational needs and contribute to the achievement of business outcomes. Undertaking research and analysis to inform the development of a range of contemporary, innovative, and fit-for-purpose learning solutions that meet individual and organizational needs. Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing a team, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and influence individual and team performance to achieve business objectives. Proven ability to design, deliver, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs and initiatives that apply contemporary learning concepts and innovative thinking to support the achievement of business objectives. Demonstrated ability to provide consultancy and advice to managers and employees in relation to strategic, people-focused initiatives and to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and implement workable solutions. Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills and demonstrated expertise in building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills that meet target audience needs, including the ability to plan, develop, and deliver clear and comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations.
