About the role We have a permanent opportunity for a Team Leader joining our Engineering Field Services section. You will lead a dedicated team of engineering professionals that support the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructure assets across WA. As a technical leader, you’ll also provide technical advice to planners, designers, constructors and operators as well as contributing to our Engineering standards. The role will be based in our Leederville office and will report to our Manager Engineering Field Services. Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leave What the role will involve Lead and manage a team of engineering and technical professionals to deliver Engineering services to our internal customers Ensure Engineering deliverables meet the required scope, quality, time and cost as agreed with the customer Provide technical advice and liaise with internal customers, external suppliers, service agencies, consultants and industry regulators Undertake and coordinate complex investigations, conceptual planning and financial analysis Key skills and experience You’ll have a degree level qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or applicable tertiary equivalent qualifications, along with extensive engineering experience in the water industry and experience leading engineering teams. Experience providing operations support will be highly regarded. Your demonstrated leadership, strong customer focus and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
