We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee daily logistics, stock control, and team coordination in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Logistics Services Manager, as the Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the Operations Team and ensuring the seamless flow of inbound shipments and outbound dispatches across multiple warehouse locations. This role is crucial in maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating urgent shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your Responsibilities In the role you will: Lead and coordinate the daily workload for the Operations Team. Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery. Monitor SAP timing reports to meet delivery deadlines. Manage stock control, including demo equipment, marketing materials, and sample inventory. Organise stocktaking activities and ensure timely completion. Process and approve freight and warehousing invoices, liaising with freight companies when required. Facilitate urgent after-hours dispatches when necessary. Oversee warehouse functionality, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Manage storage and deliveries for Renal Care clinics projects. Act as the key internal contact for warehousing-related tender requirements. Coordinate air and sea freight pick-ups, dispatches, and inter-plant transfers, including international logistics. Train warehouse staff on new processes and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and quality assurance requirements. About You Ideally, your background will include: 5+ years of experience in handling medical equipment. Strong knowledge of domestic and international transportation. Proven ability to work independently and solve complex problems under pressure. Excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and organizational skills. Experience with SAP for data entry and reporting. Warehouse and RF scanning experience. Willingness to handle the physical aspects of the role. Strong team orientation, ability to engage and motivate a team in a positive manner. Ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across all levels. Excellent communication, time management, and organisation skills. Broad knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations. Understanding of WHS legislation and compliance.
