Job Description Tech Lead role working within the Jetstar Technical Services team Working on challenging and exciting initiatives. 2-year fixed term opportunity - working at our Collingwood Office (hybrid working options available) Jetstar will be replacing its current maintenance information system and requires a strong Tech Lead with experience across a multitude of technology disciplines to lead and oversee the technical design, architecture and implementation of the project following best practices. This fully integrated system caters to virtually every aspect of aircraft maintenance & fleet management, ensuring seamless information flow between modules, boosting productivity and streamlining business processes. As the Tech Lead , you will manage the technical aspects of the migration from the legacy system to its target end state, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating technical risks, ensuring timely delivery and quality. You’ll have: 5+ years’ experience operating in a complex enterprise applications landscape. Experience administering, configuring, and deploying applications to development and production systems. Expertise in executing data migration strategies, application refactoring, and integrating with new technologies and systems. Strong understanding of architecture, modern IT strategies and emerging technologies. Experience across one or more technical disciplines including Software Development, Integration, DevOps, System Administration, Cloud or Infrastructure. Extensive experience leading technical design and strategy within complex commercial or corporate environments. Confidence in balancing both technical and communication skills, with the ability to adjust to your audience. Experience in engaging and collaborating with key business and technology stakeholders, as well as service partners and vendors. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
