About your new role:You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organisation's general ledgers and associated reconciliations, as well as maintaining high-quality internal and external financial reporting for the group. This is a highly technically focused role and will serve as the SME in this space. Some of the key tasks associated with this role include: Prepare and distribute the month-end Group Timetable Lead a small team of qualified accountants Interpret and implement Accounting Standards across the business Group consolidation and reporting Prepare statutory/external accounts Management of group trial balances Oversee and lead team in Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L reporting, cashflow reporting Lead the audit process with external Auditors Assist in annual budget and forecasting process About you:The successful candidate for this role will be someone who looks beyond the reported numbers and has a curious mindset to analyse the data produced. This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team; therefore, experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred. Experience in an ASX listed environment will be advantageous. You will be a CPA/CA qualified professional with experience ideally in a listed environment and Audit background You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar technical accounting role. You will have experience within a fast-paced environment. Can demonstrate sound system skills particularly with MS Excel and has previous exposure to mid-tier ERP systems. Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner.
