Join our Engineering team based in Shenton Park Help shape decisions that will develop & sustain WA’s water sources Permanent role with flexible work arrangements offered $115,561 plus Super from 1 April About the role We have a permanent opportunity for a Technical Advisor within our Asset Monitoring and System Investigation team to lead and manage the application of standardized processes to ensure quality data is available to our internal customers across the state. Based in our Shenton Park office, this role will report to our Team Leader – Catchment & Environment. Purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or work 4 years at a reduced salary and take the fifth year off as paid leave What you can expect with this role Accountability for the management and audit for compliance of all data collection processes and standards to relevant Australian and International standards Management of our improvement of data collection standards and processes, including Quality Management Systems and NATA compliance Ensure NATA and Quality Systems certification are achieved including using audits, continuous improvement and document management. Management of the provision of R&D including proposals, funding, research of industry work practices and methodologies, and recommending and implementing improvements Provision of centre of expertise advice for hydrometric and geotechnical industry work practices and methodologies Influence process owners to integrate improvements into corporate data collection processes and standards About you Advanced diploma level qualification in hydrometric, electronic, instrumentation or equivalent AND substantial experience in data collection practices Experience with data collection standards and practices Knowledge of hydrometric and geotechnical principles Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders will ensure success in this role Sound like a match?
