Work for an iconic State Government Organization Impact our State SA GOV agency looking for a Technical Business Analyst to work on systems enhancements, testing, and data manipulation for a complex government system. Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team for a 6 to 12-month hourly rate temporary role, focusing on systems process mapping, data manipulation, and systems testing/UAT activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Technical Business Systems Analyst and bespoke knowledge of corporate systems and operational data. These 2 x BA roles will be supporting this role and the broader team and will need to pick content up fast. 7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week. Temporary (17/03/2025 to 17/03/2026 with very likely extension). Hourly rate temporary contract appointment ranging from $60 per hour plus 11.5% super to $100 per hour plus 11.5% super. The rate of pay will be defined with the candidate based on skills, experience, or expertise on Technical Business Analysis around systems process mapping, data manipulation, bug testing, and UAT. Must be Adelaide South Australia based as work from office will be required from Adelaide's CBD. All applicable award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime, allowances, and superannuation for this role. They would be applied to the following: Investigating workflow processes/system functionality to process map/capture where key triggers for known issues occur. Documenting these issues and working with service desk staff/Subject Matter Experts to provide direction on the ideal business outcome, with an aim to work with the service desk/vendors to come up with business requirements/use cases to create change requests for the vendor and test plans for the test analyst. This would also cover change requests for enhancements which aren't necessarily a current issue but will (or already are) an outstanding business need. Mapping pathways in the system to inform instructional materials. Documenting instructions on correct processing to assist in informing staff and providing statewide processes to system management. This would include updating and monitoring 'interim' processes to improve materials as fixes are applied or as interim processes prove insufficient to meet business needs. Key skills would be: Critical thinking Investigation and analysis Problem solving Data analysis Process mapping Documentation Creating business requirements and use cases Someone skilled in technical business analysis is desirable, but not a must.
