What you will do in the Technical Lead role This role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable technical solutions by collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring technical designs align with business objectives, and enforcing best coding practices. Key responsibilities include establishing development processes, overseeing automation testing and ongoing maintenance. The role plays an integral part in continuous improvement efforts, driving optimisation and enhanced efficiency across the development lifecycle. In this role you will: Lead a team of technical professionals Use your skills and knowledge to design and build IT solutions Take the opportunity to establish best practice frameworks and processes Develop and maintain automation testing. About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: Relevant skills and demonstrated experience relating to the key responsibilities of this position (as described in the candidate kit) Proven expertise in system design, solution architecture, and software design principles, ensuring solutions are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong written communication skills, with experience in documenting technical processes, systems, and requirements clearly and accurately and demonstrated ability to maintain stakeholder engagement, work collaboratively and lead a team as required Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively and effectively engage with stakeholders, including to influence, persuade and negotiate to build effective professional relationships and work collaboratively with, and lead team members as required Ability to adapt to changing technologies and evolving business needs and demonstrate a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills The successful candidate must also hold, or have the ability to attain and maintain, a minimum of a Baseline Security Clearance issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
