Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner / Manager to drive the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of data governance tooling within a highly regarded financial institution. This role is a bridge between business and technology, ensuring that Collibra, Informatica Data Quality, and Erwin tools are effectively managed to support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Own the product strategy & roadmap – Work with stakeholders across the business to define priorities and ensure technology teams deliver on them. Vendor & stakeholder management – Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and senior business leaders, ensuring alignment on product roadmaps. Optimise costs – Track infrastructure and vendor spend, proactively identifying efficiencies and driving cost savings. Oversee technical implementation & integration – Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of governance tools. Advise on best practices & innovation – Continuously enhance the technical capabilities of data governance tools to meet evolving business needs. What We’re Looking For:Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, Manager or similar role within Financial Services. Hands-on expertise with Collibra, Informatica Data Quality, and Erwin (or similar governance tools). Strong understanding of data governance principles and enterprise-wide data management. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at senior levels including C-suite. Ability to navigate complex priorities and competing interests across different business groups.
