Joining our Australian procurement team, you will provide expertise to promote and sell to internal and external customers, your range of functional ingredients and flavours Be the specialist for your technical product range Customer visits with Account Managers to provide technical advice Get involved with buying Assist in establishing a yearly plan on forecasting products Build strong supplier relationships to maximise business terms Source the best quality ingredients for the category Ensure customer's requirements are met with delivery of products Keep up to date with current trends in the market to ensure ingredients imported are always in demand Resolve any supplier claims that arise for orders Advise sales teams regarding pricing changes of ingredients Work Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm at our Derrimut Head office 1 day work from home after 6 months Applicants residing in Brisbane also considered. About you. With a food science degree and experience in product development Confident to provide technical expertise internally and to customers Commercially minded Confident to engage with internal and external stakeholders Strong negotiation skills Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) High level presentation and influencing skills Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
