It is an exciting time to join EX Engineering as we form a part of the IPD Group and expand operations across Australia. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Take & manage enquiries made via phone and email. Understand customer requirements, and articulate the products, services and solutions EX provides with credibility & confidence. Collaborate with the EX Sales Team to provide the best solution. Respond to customers within EX Service Levels. Provide quotes, process orders, create work orders, bill of materials using our CRM/ERP system NetSuite. Develop a deep understanding of Hazardous Area products and concepts. Work with our engineering / drafting team to design solutions. Work with our workshop team to build solutions. Complete work in line with HSEQ and EX policies and procedures. This role will be provided with training and mentorship by a specialised team who understand, design and build internationally certified products. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Critical to this role is someone who: Has a proven track record of internal sales / sales. A great communicator via phone and email. Has an interest in developing their understanding of Hazardous Areas. Is motivated to understand the technical concepts of our products and services. Can work in a fast-paced environment meeting service levels. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and always looks to provide the best outcome for the customer. Strong team player / enjoys team collaboration and success. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical sales role. Proven ability / desire to build high level of technical knowledge. Demonstrable written, verbal communication skills. Displays curiosity, drive and willingness to understand Hazardous Areas. Advanced skills in using CRM, ERP, Microsoft systems. Undertake a pre-employment medical and be fit for work. Police Clearance Certificate.
