Technical Sales Representative - Resilient Line Products Founded in 1937 in Milan, Mapei is a leading global chemical manufacturing company servicing the global construction industry. Mapei has contributed to the construction of some of the most important architectural and infrastructural works worldwide. About the Opportunity Due to ongoing growth, a great opportunity has become available as a Technical Sales Representative – Western Australia in our Resilient Line of products. This is a varied role where a good understanding of commercial and residential flooring systems, including floor preparation is a must. The Role Promote Mapei products and their technical advantages to all existing and new clientele To always perform duties within the structure of Mapei Australia’s policies (e.g. sales, pricing, expenses etc) Provide accurate project forecasting to the State Sales Manager for planning purposes Attend construction site meetings and offer sound technical assistance to all involved parties Increase Mapei’s footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territory Gain project specifications through various means Identify and maintain the needs of resilient training, including frequency and location in state or territory and reevaluating the needs of specific training due to trends or changes to local standards/installation methods Organise training location including, materials, tools, merchandise and products relevant to the scheduled training About You Minimum 5 years’ experience within the flooring industry Projects management or estimating experience advantageous Be able to assist/organize training events Reliable and honest Ability to build quick rapport with people A strong customer service delivery focus Language & Other Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member Ability to be “hands on” and outcomes-focused Have a continuous improvement mindset Next Steps If you're a self-motivated technical salesperson looking to take the next step in your career - Apply Now!
