This role is responsible for the competent delivery of training and assessment activities with a strong focus on instructing and assessing the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers, as well as the daily management of our Perth facility, including the quality of training and assessment activities offered within the scope of Aviation Australia’s approval as a Registered Training Organisation and Part 147 organisation. This role will require minimal interstate travel and availability to undertake training and attend events outside of normal business hours, including weekends, as required. About the Role This role will see you manage the daily operations of the Perth campus facilities, so our ideal candidate will have the following: A min. Certificate IV in Aeroskills and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the ability to obtain the competencies associated with these Cert IV's. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) qualifications. A min. 3-5 yrs proven experience in a leadership position. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to display a courteous and professional manner at all times. Demonstrated compliance knowledge within the related Aviation and Training authorities and their regulations. Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong organisation skills, with the ability to deal with competing demands. Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team.
