About the Role Reporting to the Reliability Superintendent of Mobile Equipment Maintenance and joining an inclusive and high-performing team, the Document Writer plays an integral part in achieving long-term, measurable improvements in safety, performance, and efficiency of our Mobile fleet. This position is based at South Flank and is offered as a 5/2, 4/3 FIFO roster. Ensure that all technical documentation, including work instructions relating to maintenance activities, are improved and developed to a standard and uploaded accordingly in our document repositories. Liaise with reliability engineers and frontline teams to ensure accurate task lists are created, updated, maintained, and assigned to execution strategies. Review requests from the operations frontline and leadership teams to update technical documents, including work instructions and preventive maintenance instructions, and be in the field with teams during execution of activities to capture the right information. Review and update master data and material numbers aligned with our task lists to reduce variability in parts management. About You To be successful in the role, candidates should demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and solution-focused attitude. We will be looking for people with the following skills and experience: Experience in creating and updating technical documents and document management systems. Possess an understanding of ERP systems such as SAP. An understanding of SAP master data and the dependency between the technical documents and SAP master data is desirable. You will appreciate the need for quality and have exceptional attention to detail. You will have an ability to interpret user requirements and update the documents accordingly. Your ability to work with multiple software packages will ensure you are effective in this role. Your drive to continuously improve technical documents based on the understanding of impacts is key to being successful in this role. You will be a true team player with a passion for delivering extraordinary results. Location You will be based at our South Flank mine site on a fly-in fly-out roster, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of Newman. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV, and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator, and air-conditioning.
