Migrating customers to ANZ Plus offers them access to our leading financial wellbeing tools and modern banking propositions. As an Assurance Manager in our Customer Migration Program, you’ll play a key role in leading risk identification and assessment of end-to-end risks across an impactful delivery program. Working alongside partners and stakeholders in Customer Migration, ANZ Plus, ANZ Retail, Technology partners, Suncorp, and others, you will connect the dots across multiple teams to ensure the continued success of scaled customer migration to ANZ Plus. To be successful in this role, you need to have demonstrable experience in risk management, assurance activities, and project delivery. As an Assurance Manager supporting the technology stream, you will: Work closely with Bank Led Migration Stream leadership, Product Owners, Journey Experts and your assurance colleagues in the identification, assessment and management of risks and issues Embed risk awareness and escalation and recording of risk information as needed Conduct Risk & Controls Assessment – ensuring sound documentation of risk information across the portfolio for introduced risk Coordinate and manage end-to-end risk workshops, to produce risk assessments Use your strong communication and presentation skills to connect with stakeholders across impacted business segments Support the teams with compliance obligations management Enhance risk reporting and ensure material decisions are captured Leverage confluence to meet our risk reporting requirement and ensure visibility of Non-Financial Risk with all key stakeholders Bring creativity by challenging what’s possible whilst keeping the safety and financial wellbeing of our customers at our core Develop a strong understanding of the teams’ needs and priorities to ensure risk and compliance is built into feature design. What will you bring? For this role you should ideally have experience in identifying and managing non-financial risks related to the customer journey or customer experience. Experience in assurance activities at ANZ will also be well regarded. To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Risk management: Proven experience in risk management, assurance or operational excellence, ideally supporting project assurance or risk delivery changes especially as it relates to technology delivery and data governance Technology: Technology domain specific experience including Cloud, cyber security, technology processes and big data Data: Understanding of data management specific to the financial industry Stakeholder management: The ability to identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by the program Influencing: The ability to gain the commitment of others through a range of techniques Relationship building: The ability to build and nurture relationships, both internally and externally, to maintain and foster mutually trusting and empathetic connections Critical thinking: The ability to use logic and reasoning to analyse, evaluate and synthesize a range of information to understand an opportunity or challenge Excellent communication skills, ability to identify articulate and communicate risk findings Must be able to work successfully in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment as part of a small team.
