Job Description

West Moreton Health is experiencing unprecedented growth. Our community is projected to almost double, reaching over 588,000 residents by 2036. We are looking for a Technology Officer to join our PeMR project team in a temporary, flexible full-time role for 5 months. The Technology Officer provides experienced technical support and timely problem resolution to maintain local information systems, hardware and infrastructure. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Technical Knowledge - Demonstrated skill and ability in providing local Information & Communication Technology (ICT) support to digital hospital devices, desktop technologies and system administration. Customer Focus - Remains accessible to customers and uses strong communication skills to understand customers' needs and deliver an organised service that meets their expectations. Continuous Learning - Self-motivated and proactive about own continuous learning, developing and participating in internal and external training and networks and applying knowledge to local ICT within the workplace. Problem Solving - Uses good analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to achieve outcomes for local ICT with an awareness of Queensland Health and district strategic direction. Work Values - Demonstrates honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff. Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
