This role is critical to driving the maturity of risk management practices, fostering a strong risk culture, and ensuring the operationalisation of the enterprise risk framework. You will play a key role in monitoring and overseeing risk-related activities, delivering thematic reviews, and providing clear and concise communication on complex risk topics to senior management. What will your key responsibilities include? Partner with the Technology Division to monitor risk performance, provide oversight, and deliver thematic reviews on key risk topics. Drive risk culture maturity by building risk awareness and capability amongst the leaders and their teams. Operationalise the Enterprise Risk Management Framework within the Technology Division, ensuring strong controls and disciplined risk management practices. Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficient and effective risk management processes and practices across the division. Lead and coach a team to deliver on risk and compliance operational responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Prepare and present clear, precise, and well-articulated written reports to senior leadership on risk matters. Conduct investigations into incidents, issues, and assurance findings, ensuring effective controls and timely resolution. What are we looking for? Proven expertise in Technology Risk Management, including frameworks, controls, and compliance. Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex risk and technical concepts into concise and accessible language. Demonstrated attention to detail, with a strong investigative approach to risk-related issues. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Resilient and confident in challenging the status quo to drive improvements. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and uplifting risk culture across the organisation.
