We are looking for a Tennis Development Officer (Gold Coast) to join our team at Tennis Queensland on a full time, permanent basis. About the Role Reporting to the Field Manager, the role of Tennis Development Officer – Gold Coast is responsible for driving growth in tennis participation by supporting stakeholders and affiliates in the outstanding delivery of playing opportunities in the region. The role aligns with State and National tennis strategy and contributes to the growth, sustainability and overall success of tennis in the Gold Coast region and across Queensland. In this role you will: Develop positive relationships with clubs and association stakeholders within the region to provide a high level of support and assistance to increase participation and improve club operations through influencing and adopting best practice. Lead the delivery and implementation of club operational health initiatives and club development plans that cater for modern consumer needs aligned to Tennis strategy utilising the provided tools. Support the creation, delivery and implementation of marketing plans and digital engagement initiatives across the region. Assist in the delivery of the Queensland Tennis Facilities Plan in the region specifically in relation to court upgrades, maintenance and accessibility. Support the TQ Competitive Play team to identify opportunities for increased participation and competitive play across the region. Identify and support opportunities for schools and clubs/coaches to connect to increase participation opportunities. About You What you will bring to the role: Demonstrated experience or knowledge of sports administration through customer service, volunteering, coaching, officiating, or committee experience in club and community sport. Ability to take initiative, work creatively, set priorities and meet deadlines. A current driver’s licence and first aid certificate. Alignment with the Tennis values of Excellence, Humility, Collaboration and Imagination. You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Blue Card .
