About the role: We’re looking for a self-motivated, results-driven Territory Manager to join our tight-knit QLD team. Covering Cairns, Townsville, and Airlie, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key relationships, and expanding our footprint in the region—all while enjoying the freedom to run your territory with a high level of autonomy. At AV, we set you up for success with comprehensive training and ongoing development, including a structured onboarding program, sales and wine education, an annual national sales conference, and quarterly business reviews. If you love building relationships, owning your results, and working independently while still being part of a great team, this role is for you! What you’ll do: Managing and growing existing customer relationships across on-premise and off-premise channels, always delivering professional, ethical, and high-impact service. Hunting for new business and securing fresh sales opportunities in your territory. Becoming an expert in our portfolio to provide top-tier product knowledge and insights to customers. Hitting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs set by AVL. Ensuring AVL products are front and centre in key retail spaces. Hosting regular wine tastings, promotional events, and participating in wine shows. About you: A people person: You excel at communication, negotiation, and relationship-building. A self-starter: You’re proactive, adaptable, and can manage your time efficiently. Goal-driven: You’re competitive, ambitious, and love achieving big results. Highly organised: Planning and time management are your strong suits. Sales-savvy: Prior experience as a Territory Manager in FMCG or the drinks industry is highly valued.
