About the company you’ll be working for: Our client is Australia’s fastest growing distributor of industrial and safety products, supporting workers across the country with workwear, PPE, tools, and essential equipment. We are seeking an engaging and results-driven Territory Manager to join the team and spearhead new business development and existing customer growth in Kalgoorlie and the Goldfields region. About the role: This role offers a unique balance between prospecting for new clients and nurturing relationships with current customers to maximise their business potential. You will actively pursue new business, negotiate contracts, and work alongside colleagues from various departments to expand market share and product usage. Success in this role is driven by proactive sales efforts and achieving consistent revenue results. It requires a dynamic, driven, and persuasive individual who thrives in an environment that is flexible and constantly changing. Previous experience in the industry is not necessary as full training will be provided, but you must have worked in sales before. Key responsibilities of the role include: New Business Development : Prospect and acquire new customers, focusing on driving sales and market share growth. Customer Relationship Management : Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Sales Strategy : Develop and implement a sales call plan that targets both existing accounts and potential new business. Sales Presentations : Deliver professional and impactful presentations to executive-level decision-makers. Tender Management : Respond to tenders and provide support for quotations and contract negotiations. Team Collaboration : Work with internal teams to maximize opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the business. What you must have to apply for this role: At least 2 years’ sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment (industry experience not essential). Valid Australian drivers licence. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desirable, but not essential: Previous experience in the industrial supplies or FMCG sector. Previous experience with Hubspot as a CRM and marketing tool.
