We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Territory Manager who is both entrepreneurial and a commercial thinker to join our team based at your home office. Reporting to the Southern Regional Manager and servicing the South Australian (based) and WA region, the Territory Manager will ensure customer needs are satisfactorily met by effectively promoting products and providing technical support. You will be primarily responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with your customers within the region. In this highly visible role, the successful candidate will be results oriented, hungry for success, understand the importance of delivering quality customer service and enjoy working with a diverse and passionate agribusiness customer base. Specific responsibilities include: Identifying and converting sales opportunities with an established client base Generating new business opportunities and building new market share Monitoring the external environment collecting and analysing information regarding external market forces such as economic, industry trends, and conditions Developing strong internal relationships including technical teams, marketing and administrative functions, to assist with ongoing external client requirements Representing the organisation at agribusiness and technology events Occasional travel to Western Australia To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and attributes: Tertiary qualifications in business, agronomy, or an agricultural discipline A proven track record of sales achievements in the agricultural sector, preferred but not essential Passion for the agricultural industry Willingness to travel within the region, with some occasional interstate travel Proven ability to expand the business’ customer base through marketing of expertise in the appropriate skills area Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, develop and maintain active and productive relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders We offer a competitive salary, appropriate technology for your home office and a fully maintained vehicle.
