Long-term engagement opportunity Competitive daily rate Candidates must hold baseline security clearance About the Company Our client is a federal government agency responsible for one of the nation's largest, most complex and scrutinized peacetime logistical events. About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to work within the Enterprise Digital Delivery Branch of the Chief Information Officer Division. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the delivery of electoral events and day-to-day operations through an improved maturity of our client's systems. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Working closely within Project test teams to develop test plans and execute and report against them. This will be achieved through working with the department's business stakeholders and project development teams. Engaging with development teams to understand the scope of product releases and developing acceptance criteria based on business objectives, functional requirements and service level requirements. Developing test plans, test scenarios and/or test scripts for a specific release. Undertaking testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing for each release cycle. Reporting and tracking the resolution of issues as they are found in testing. Assisting with issue triaging. Developing test reports. Performing other duties as directed from time-to-time by Directors/Team Leaders or a delegate. Skills and Experience Required Experience in test processes, including preparation, execution, and reporting. Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Test Manager, Jira and Azure DevOps. Proven experience of working in an Agile team. Tertiary qualifications or industry recognised certification in Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline. Skills with Automation Testing and SQL Querying.
