Short Description: In the role of Test Analyst, you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements, leading test execution and defect management, and implementing and maintaining the automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, and Rest Assured. You will mentor team members and contribute to creating solutions for QA proposals. Location: Sydney, Australia Salary Range: 82544 AUD - 90270 AUD (Annual Gross) Academics and Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education. At least 4-8 years of experience in Information Technology. Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline. Essential Skills: Must Have Skills: Strong experience in UI, API Automation using Selenium (JAVA), Rest Assured, and Postman. Experience in creating robust automation frameworks that are reusable and maintainable. Experience in API automation testing. Ability to independently create, execute, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks. Experience in BDD/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD. Scripting/development experience (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.). Experience with code coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc. Experience with build automation tools such as Maven and Gradle. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo. Experience with version control tools like GitHub and Bitbucket. Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, and Rally. Ability to lead a team of automation testers in an onshore/offshore model. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience. Nice to Have Skills: Exposure to trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA and AI/ML in QA. Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot. Experience with mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile. Preferred Skills: Exposure to trends in Quality Engineering, such as RPA and AI/ML in QA. Knowledge of GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot. Experience with Cloud migration testing (AWS or Azure). Additional Skills: Team player who values different perspectives. Customer-focused with problem-solving skills. Collaborative approach to ensure alignment across teams.
