We are now hiring for a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at Pearson Professional Center - Sydney L2, 10 Bridge St Sydney NSW 2000. Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts across Weekday (Monday to Friday) and Weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Our operating hours are between 7am and 11pm. We offer an attractive pay rate of $35.87 per hour. Candidates must be flexible to work a range of shifts in the morning and evening. This is strictly a Casual position and will remain as such. As a Test Administrator you’ll be responsible for: providing exceptional customer service and a secure exam delivery environment. complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies. checking and verifying candidate’s identification against test registration and helping them to set up for the test. explaining the exam procedures and proctoring/invigilating candidates while testing. troubleshooting with internal departments to fix any technical issues. escalating any policy breaches immediately to relevant business personnel. completing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination schedule. other ad hoc duties as directed. To be successful in the position you’ll have: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred. Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly desirable. Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must be able to sit for long periods of time and be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs independently. Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, hear soft voices, and see details from a distance.
