Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career, we are now hiring for a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at 4 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra. Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, with the availability to work a variety of shifts across Weekday (Monday to Friday) and Weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Our operating hours are between 7am and 11pm. We offer an attractive pay rate of $35.87. Candidates must be open to flexible shifts in the morning and evening. This is strictly a Casual position and will remain as such. As a Test Administrator you’ll be responsible for: Providing exceptional customer service and a secure exam delivery environment. Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies. Checking and verifying candidates’ identification against test registration and assisting them in setting up for the test. Explaining exam procedures and proctoring/invigilating candidates during testing. Troubleshooting with internal departments to resolve any technical issues. Escalating any policy breaches immediately to the relevant business personnel. Completing light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination schedule. Other ad hoc duties as directed. To be successful in the position you’ll have: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 1 year customer service experience is preferred. Experience proctoring or invigilating exams is highly desirable. Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must be able to sit for long periods and be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs independently. Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
