Our Department Our Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first stage recovery bays as well as an additional 32 second stage chairs. Our specialties include General (including laparoscopic), Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Robotics, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology and Vascular surgery. The Role The Floor Clinical Coordinator plays an integral role in the smooth running of the Theatre Complex. Your leadership qualities will incorporate a creative and innovative approach to ensure efficient and cost-effective management of human and material resources. Outstanding customer service to our patients and VMOs is a key focus. This position offers leadership and management opportunities and a great platform for advancing leadership skills toward Deputy Theatre Manager or Perioperative Services Manager roles. If you are an experienced Peri-operative Nurse with a commitment to excellence in all areas of theatre work, then we look forward to hearing from you. Minimum Requirements: Current AHPRA Nurse Registration – Registered Nurse Minimum of 5 years post graduate operating room experience Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing Proven leadership skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working towards tertiary management qualification Why Healthscope?
