Herston Private Hospital is a stand-alone, day and short stay private hospital with three operating theatres, eight first stage recovery beds, and eight second stage recovery chairs along with seven overnight short stay beds. This is an exciting time for Herston Private Hospital and we’re looking for an adaptable, motivated, and suitably experienced person to join our team in the role of Theatre Supplies Officer. The Theatre Supplies Officer is responsible for providing management of our procurement and supplies system ‘Getinge T-DOC’ to improve supplies workflow, resource utilization, and logistics within Herston Private Hospital’s operating theatre suite. The attributes you will provide include: Operating theatre stock knowledge Exceptional attention to detail Proficient computer and theatre management software skills/experience The ability to improve order, organisation and storage systems in the stock rooms Systematic distribution of procured stock You are willing to work diligently behind the scenes to ensure our inventory management runs smoothly while working well and cohesively within a multidisciplinary team. As a valuable member of the Perioperative team, you will work under the direction of the Perioperative Manager to ensure the consistent availability of supplies for the department. You must possess excellent communication skills. Working with the perioperative team, colleagues, and other stakeholders, you will promote Herston Private Hospital’s Culture and Vision, and the accountability of Herston Private Hospital to its diverse constituents.
