Job Purpose Managing the access arrangements and permits to authorise and enable third parties to undertake works on the rail assets. Key Responsibilities Contribute to a small team to receive and process third party works access requests as per documented procedures. Perform the issuing of permits, documentation and updating records. Coordinate with UGLRL Infrastructure and Maintenance team as required. Liaise directly with internal and external professionals (engineers, design consultants, other organisation principals) as a means of providing efficient resolution to application issues. Ensure that all project works at interface zones are carried out in accordance with quality, environmental, and safety management plans. Identify and recognise risks prior to work commencing and communicate to relevant stakeholders to ensure all risks and management options are identified. Ensure that any proposals do not negatively impact on UGLRL-CRN and TfNSW’s network safety, integrity and/or operations. Ensure that all recommendations are documented, evidenced and supported by the appropriately qualified stakeholders. Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key people informed as to the process, progress and issues related to non-compliance of applications as required. Communication with third parties as to compliances and non-compliances. Provision of detailed information as to process of approval and requirements necessary for approvals. Qualifications Experience in a Contract Administration process environment (Desirable). Ability to utilise Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio, Excel and MS Project) and record management systems to produce reports and record information to required standards. Experience working in a small team environment performing administration and associated activities, along with an understanding of the application of policies and procedures. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
