We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Good Games as a Store Manager. In this versatile role, you’ll be at the forefront of both front and back-end operations, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our retail / organised play spaces. As the Store Manager at Good Games Australia, you’ll be the heart and soul of our store! Your day-to-day will include making sure we open and close smoothly, and you’ll be involved in a variety of fun and fulfilling tasks, such as: Leading a small, passionate team: You’ll help recruit, supervise, and develop our awesome staff, making sure everyone is motivated and thriving. Managing inventory: You’ll keep our shelves stocked and organized, overseeing ordering, stock rotation, and merchandising to create an inviting atmosphere. Running in-store Organised Play programs: You’ll foster our gaming community and organise events that bring players together and keep them coming back for more. Marketing magic: You’ll brainstorm and execute creative marketing initiatives to promote our store and engage with our customers. Here’s what we’re looking for: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Experience managing a team and directly supervising staff. Background in retail, with a knack for excellent customer service. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to keep cool under pressure. Tech-savvy with solid computer skills. A proactive attitude and a desire to take ownership of your store’s success. You should enjoy what you do—after all, it’s all about having fun! A love for tabletop games and a good understanding of MTG and other popular trading card games. Previous management experience, especially in gaming or events, is a big plus!
