Job Description
GENERAL: Prepare racing surface – to provide a safe and fair racing surface for race meetings Manage all presentation of the racecourse and grounds Preparation and setting up of grounds for race days Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained to an acceptable standard Manage track, grounds and maintenance employees Monitor track usage Communicate effectively with industry participants Management and supervision of all improvement projects Maintenance of training track surface that is conducive to providing facilities of a high standard. Ensure all necessary repairs and maintenance of buildings and racecourse infrastructure are completed within a timely manner Presentation completed annually to the CEO of annual grounds and facilities maintenance plan Be actively involved in the day-to-day grounds and racetrack activities Attend and complete any training required Ensure to complete adherence to KBRC OHS Policies and Procedures STAFF Management and employment of all track, grounds and maintenance areas Mentor all employees in your area Discipline of employees – when required Undertake and manage staff training as required Arrange rosters for all staff Ensure staff adhere to all PPE requirements and KBRC standards SAFETY Report all safety issues to the CEO Document all hazards, incidents, and injuries Ensure all employees within your work area are working in a safe and productive manner Accommodation Available for right applicant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
