UGL's Maintenance and Manufacturing business has experienced growth within the locomotive servicing division based at our Maintenance Facility in Hamilton North Newcastle NSW, and we are looking for a Trade Assistant/ Yardperson to join the team. This role is paid under UGL’s Newcastle Operations Enterprise Agreement, working Monday – Friday from 5.30am – 2.30pm on a 9-day fortnight with every second Monday off. The role will be for a 6-month period only, with a potential extension if the program extends beyond the expected deadline. About the role Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, this role will see you working within our locomotive maintenance team assisting with general workshop cleaning & overhauling of the workshop space in alignment with our 5s program, yard maintenance, and any other workshop duties as required.
