ABOUT THE ROLE The Trade Branch Manager will lead and manage a team of experienced office to trade staff. The Trade Branch Manager will report to the Regional Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day management of staff, the branch, relationship management with customers and ensuring we deliver superior products and services to our builders. You will ensure delivery schedules are met and exceeded daily and your customers are always kept up to date of any delays to their orders. Relationship building and keeping those relationships alive is key to this role. The key to this role is that we offer unrivalled service and products to our many customers who rely on us for quality products. The Branch Manager will report to the Regional Manager who will provide coaching, mentorship and ensure you are set for success. RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE Ensuring branch performance, including the delivery of quality product, service, sales and exceeding profits Focusing on efficiency and ensuring you meet customer expectations Oversee stock inventory, monthly reporting and annual forecasting Plan and prepare rosters to ensure adequate coverage and service levels during trading hours Responsible for recruitment of all team members for the Trade Branch Measured by DIFOT so your customers get the products they need, when they need them Create and implement processes and strategies for improving the overall customer experience Managing branch operations, administration and reporting requirements Plan, develop and implement strategies to achieve budgets, targets and objectives Drive and manage a high performing team, committed to providing outstanding customer service QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 5+ years experience in managing and leading a high performing trade store Strong leadership experience in managing a high profitable trade branch Previous industry experience in manufacturing, trade retail, hardware, or a similar environment will be highly desirable although not essential Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and be commercially astute Strong, positive relationship building abilities with internal and external customers Excellent written and oral communication skills with high level attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in a positive manner through negotiation and consultation with other team members and stakeholders Team player – build a culture and structure – a true leader Someone who can lead, motivate and influence High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors Forklift Licence - (mandatory) Driver Licence - (mandatory) Finally have a ‘hands on’ with a 'can do' attitude PERKS Access to our awesome reward and benefits platform with cashback discounts at over 400 retailers such as; Adidas, Woolworths, Coles, Ikea, Myer, Rebel Sports + more!
