About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our team on a busy building site. As a Trade Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting tradespeople, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, plumbers, electricians) with on-site tasks. Perform basic labouring duties, such as cleaning, organizing materials, and moving equipment. Operate hand and power tools as required, following safety guidelines. Set up and dismantle scaffolding and other temporary structures. Support with general site maintenance and ensure a clean workspace. Deliver tools and materials to tradespeople as needed. Follow all workplace health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience on a construction site or in a trade assistant role with 12 months minimum experience. Basic understanding of building site safety and construction tools. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team. Physically fit and able to handle the demands of site work.
