Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the role entails preparing machines for hire, undertaking repairs and servicing within a dynamic and vibrant mechanical workshop environment. The role ideally suits someone who has previous hands-on experience within the hire industry. Ideal experience for this position: Trade qualified mechanic or person of good mechanical aptitude Previous experience with equipment hire or similar industry Strong hands-on skills in a similar mechanical field Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude towards all tasks that present themselves Work efficiently as part of a strong team Possess the ability to think on their feet High level organisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Possess good communication skills, both verbal and written Have a strong commitment to OH&S and QA systems Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with minimum supervision and within specific time frames would be required.
