Traffic Management Planner - Western Australia Are you an experienced Traffic Management Planner looking for your next challenge? We are working with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure consultancy in Perth that is seeking a skilled professional to join their dynamic team. About the Role As a Traffic Management Planner , you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and reviewing traffic management plans to ensure the safe and efficient movement of traffic around construction and infrastructure projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of relevant regulations, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and design Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) in compliance with Main Roads WA and Australian Standards. Liaise with local councils, government bodies, and project stakeholders to secure necessary approvals. Conduct site assessments to identify potential traffic risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and traffic control guidelines. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and traffic controllers to facilitate smooth operations. Review and update traffic management plans as project conditions change. Conduct audits and risk assessments to enhance safety and efficiency. Key Requirements Accredited Traffic Management Planner (WTC Level 2 or 3) certification (Main Roads WA). Strong knowledge of AS 1742.3 and Main Roads WA traffic management guidelines. Proven experience in developing TGS and TMPs for infrastructure, civil, or construction projects. Proficiency in traffic management software such as AutoCAD or RapidPlan. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
