An opportunity to deliver highly sought after outcomes for our community Permanent opportunity working a 35hr week Flexible working arrangements on offer City of Newcastle has an opportunity for a highly experienced Traffic and Transport Manager to ensure the delivery of effective citywide transport planning and the management of CN traffic engineering outcomes. As the Traffic and Transport Manager you will support the Transport and Regulation leadership team whilst guiding and leading the Traffic and Transport team to deliver key strategies, plans, and projects for all traffic and transport matters. This position will see you play a pivotal role in managing the Newcastle City Traffic Committee, road space approvals, and being a key asset with transport-related stakeholder groups. This opportunity provides you with a chance to be involved in local planning and investigation projects such as local centre upgrades and development approvals, as well as implementation of the transport works programs covering the Cycling Plan, Parking Plan, and Pedestrian and Mobility Plan across the city.
