An exciting opportunity now exists to join Shotton Mill’s Human Resource team as the Training & Development Administrator. Shotton Mill is currently repurposing the paper mill in order to build the biggest containerboard and tissue campus within the UK. This includes containerboard production with a capacity of 750,000t to develop Converting & Tissue operations on site. As well as this, a new CHP gas and effluent treatment plant are being constructed. Site wide there will be a requirement to double the current workforce by start-up in 2025. In order to do this, we need to develop a Training & Development team to support in growing the business. We are therefore looking to recruit a Training & Development Administrator to carry out all aspects of training administration onsite. You will be involved in: Be a point of contact for any Training & Development queries to all employees. Providing admin support to the Training & Development department. Managing the training database, employee training records, and course waiting lists. Coordinating trainees courses & assessments (assessments / attendance / certification / materials / general enquiries). Facilitating classroom training, workshops and conferences. Participating in the planning, development, creation and implementation of L&D programs. Providing support to internal and external department audits. Help evaluate the effectiveness of Training & Development. Support the employee 'On Boarding' process and HSE Compliance on site. Professional Requirements: Highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Able to work unsupervised and manage own workload, prioritising effectively. Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Enjoy working as part of our wider HR team and driven to provide excellence in people service. Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment providing administration support. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite & Purchase Order systems. Experience of working in a wider HR shared service environment where confidentiality is a given. Working Conditions: You will work onsite within the HR team. Due to current construction work, you will predominantly be working in a portacabin.
