The Council plans and delivers quality services and infrastructure for the more than 400,000 residents who call Casey home.A bit about the role We're seeking a proactive Senior Business Analyst to lead multiple key transformation projects, focusing on improving our digital services and customer experience. You'll be instrumental in the digitisation of forms, where you'll document requirements and automate requests within our TechnologyOne Request Management system.Additionally, you'll oversee the design, procurement, and integration of a new Payment Platform and a new Facility Booking Platform, ensuring they seamlessly connect with existing systems.What you'll deliver Collaborate strategically with the Customer Program Manager, Digital Project Manager, Service Review Lead, and project teams to ensure seamless alignment with organisational goals. Proactively identify, address and escalate issues and risks to the appropriate Program / Project Manager, fostering a culture of risk awareness and mitigation. Provide a conduit between business areas and project teams, closely aligning corporate strategy with specific business needs. Apply customer experience principles from the Customer Service Delivery Model. Conduct user research to assess customer needs through methods like workshops and interviews. Document functional requirements for form digitisation and detailed business rules for integration and automation into the TechnologyOne Request Management system. What you'll bring 5+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst on IT related projects. Knowledge of business analysis frameworks, tools and techniques, preferably aligned with the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). Demonstrates a proactive mindset, strong motivation to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement. Demonstrated experience in collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders across all levels of an organisation. Skilled in facilitating workshops to drive alignment and actionable outcomes. Experience documenting functional, non-functional and transition requirements for implementation commercially available of a software solution. Desirable: IIBA Certification (e.g., ECBA, CBAP), Agile Scrum Master Certification and an understanding of project management methodologies (Prince2, PMI and Agile). Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
