The Transport Network Changes Manager is responsible for leading the successful coordination and delivery of customer-facing network changes across roads, active transport, and public transport throughout the staging of the Cross River Rail project. About the Role The Transport Network Changes Manager is responsible for leading the successful coordination and delivery of customer-facing network changes across roads, active transport, and public transport throughout the staging of the Cross River Rail project. This critical role ensures construction activities are carried out with minimal impact on commuters while maintaining accessibility and service levels. Managing a multi-disciplinary team, the scope of network changes includes oversight of extended rail network closures to support construction and the introduction of new and upgraded stations into service. Alignment of network change planning and readiness activities will be a key focus requiring extensive engagement with both internal project teams and key government and transport agencies. This is a unique opportunity to work with industry leaders on a project central to Brisbane's future. Key Responsibilities: Maintain strategic oversight of the network change program in relation to CRR construction program and determine and allocate work priorities. Facilitate multi-agency working groups ensuring the application of robust governance and decision-making frameworks and processes. Develop governance materials such as risk assessments and assurance documentation to support project milestones. Proactively manage risks, issues, and operational impacts, ensuring alignment with the overall construction schedule. Maintain stakeholder engagement with transport partners ensuring correct information flows and inputs received to support network changes. Prepare correspondence and briefings on planned and unplanned network changes to Executive team and Minister's office. Oversee the day-of-operations management for network changes and conduct lessons learnt exercises post-implementation. About You: Extensive experience in leading complex network changes across public transport interfacing with key stakeholders to achieve critical milestones. Strong risk and issues management capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and mitigating challenges. Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across multiple agencies and technical teams. Highly organised, adaptable, and results-driven, with a track record of meeting critical milestones in dynamic environments. Ability to provide clear and concise written and verbal communication including high level advice that is rigorously considered.
