Job Description

Department: Transport Services - Operations - Salvage Team We are looking for a reliable, customer-friendly, and fast-learning person to join our Transport Services team. The position available is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. This is a hybrid position where the successful candidate will predominantly work from home with regular office days as required (office located in Belmore, NSW). Your main responsibilities will include: Managing a remote team that mostly work from home The ongoing allocation and distribution of transport requests to team members Undertake auditing of transport requests for compliance with requirements Oversee and monitor team productivity to ensure tasks are completed and KPIs are achieved Manage escalated issues as required, and positively resolve problems Liaise professionally and effectively with relevant internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers as required Manage and approve leave requests of your team Conduct monthly and annual performance discussions and regularly meet with staff as required Conduct regular team meetings to communicate relevant information Promote a positive team culture Coach, train, mentor, and support team members to achieve personal and company objectives Assist in day-to-day team tasks as required to meet objectives Some administration tasks updating in various in-house systems will be required ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience: Previous supervisor or experience leading teams in a similar administrative role would be advantageous, along with experience in a hybrid work environment A positive, professional, and engaging phone manner with previous customer service experience Effective verbal and written communication skills, including high attention to detail Efficient, organised, and able to prioritise competing deadlines WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Employee Benefits – Earn 5 days’ extra leave and enjoy sharing in the company bonus program after a qualifying period, BBQ/Pizza lunches, free on-site parking and more!
